Rogers Video closing the rest of its rental stores by summer 2012

If you follow [post id=”132″ anchor=”yes” title=”Rogers Video closing sales back in Dec 2011″] I posted few months ago, I mentioned that Rogers Video was closing 40% of its rental store across Canada. Now to my surprise I found out today from the Rogers Video Shaughnessy in Port Coquitlam they are closing the rest of its rental stores by this summer.

With that said, their DVD and Blu-Ray liquidation sales will be starting on Monday April 16, 2012 where initially the deal is to buy one get one free then buy one get two free until everything is gone. This is what I was told but stay tuned for deals. As well, what that means is they will not be renting effective Monday April 16. Now I don’t have to stress how much I dislike the idea of closing all the rental store but it is the fact, by the end of summer I would expect there will be no more Rogers Video rental stores in the Lower Mainland.

Now if you don’t want to miss out on getting a list of good DVDs or Blu-Ray Discs, make sure you show up early in the line up when the sales start, I have my eyes on more than 10 blu-rays already. Let me know your thoughts about this.
